Wanhua: Longshan Temple and the Buddhist supplies street

    Mengjia Longshan Temple →

    Mainly dedicated to Guanyin Bodhisattva; the rear hall also enshrines Yue Lao, Wenchang Dijun and Mazu. The crowds seeking fortune sticks, throwing divination blocks and praying for marriage are the largest in all of Taipei; the fortune stick poems can be interpreted by someone at the temple's interpretation desk.

    A concentrated area of Buddhist supply and incense shops around Longshan Temple, where traditional items such as altar tables, deity statues, incense and candles, joss paper, and compasses can all be found; after paying respects, you can take a stroll around.
